EU Emissions Cuts up from 20% to 30% by 2020
From my local MEP (a Warmist out and out):

Quote:"The EU has a new Executive body in place - the Commission - which was voted into office in February by the parliament.

Initiatives are starting to emerge.

On Climate Change, the new Commissioner (who was the Danish Minister for the Environment and chaired the UN Copenhagen summit last December) has proposed how to reinvigorate world talks to deal with Climate Change. She proposes - rightly in my view - to raise the EU's own goals to cut back our emissions from 20% to 30% by 2020. Attached is the detailed document if you would like to read it."

If anyone wants the pdf of the document, I have a copy.

From the document:

Quote:4. CONCLUSION
This communication takes stock of some lessons after the Copenhagen Conference, which fell
short of initial ambitions, but which nevertheless show the substantial and widespread support
to step-up efforts to address climate change. The Communication also maps out the steps
going forward in the near- and medium-terms, and crucially signals the Commission's
determination to continue its efforts to ensure adequate action is taken globally in keeping
with the seriousness of the global challenge confronting us.

Baloney!

It fell flat on their faces.

Widespread support was evident to you? then what stopped it?

Address Climate Change as if this is a recent concern, always make's me wonder if they realize that the climate is ALWAYS changing, since it is a natural phenomenon.

If you really believe this, then I think you are mentally ill since there never has been anything serious about this small warming trend we see.A warming trend that at this time is near zero since 2001.

These are politicians will want to continue their climate scams pogroms until they get what they want.

I knew it was not from you since you made it clear that it was from, "From my local MEP (a Warmist out and out)"

Sure send me the PDF.

SST,

It's on the way to you.

Anyway, I couldn't let the MEP off that easily, so I sent him the piece I wrote about UK per capita emissions and wealth:

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jdrake/Ques...ssions.pdf

He won't read it, but it's worth a try.

I have the PDF now and in a quick skim of the contents,it appears to be a cure for insomnia.

Do you think I should patent it as a cure?

I've edited the earlier post so that the link works and included a link to the same text as a web page.
