The following is an open letter to the principal editor of the website realclimate.org, Dr. Gavin Schmidt. Realclimate, for those who don’t already know, exists in large measure to cast doubt on skeptical scientists’ work regarding global warming and, as much as possible, to stifle dissent on the internet.

Dear Dr. Schmidt,

As you know, I recently contacted you with an offer to be “friendly adversaries.” My offer was sincere. I take your comment on my blog to be your response, as you did not answer the e-mail. Speaking of blogs, there are many individuals who have had their comments on your blog, realclimate.org, deleted nearly as soon as they are posted.
