RE: Guests are welcome
Hi All, Derek here posing as a guest, for reasons too long winded to explain, or for I to understand...
Anyway, visiting the archive as a guest I can only see five listed archives. I can not see other archives I know exist, niether Alan Siddon's or Hans Shreuder's archives are visible. Right I'd better get back to what i was doing, namely trying to find out what happened to the forums presence yesterday, and the day before. And now come to think of it, becasue I have accessed the forum via firefox, but can not seem to sign in.. Most peculiar. |

RE: Guests are welcome
Forum is still undergoing problems, Derek.
SST is working on it. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant! |

RE: Guests are welcome
Thank you John, good to know all is in hand.
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken. The hobgoblins have to be imaginary so that "they" can offer their solutions, not THE solutions. |

I can not see other archives I know exist, niether Alan Siddon's or Hans Shreuder's archives are visible." That is the normal set up. I might be able to make changes with the new version however. But they can also join the forum and see them all. What is so weird is that you guys can log in and post but not me the forum owner! |

RE: Guests are welcome
I agree with Derek's comment. Visit the site as a guest and you see very little of what is available. I know what's there and will navigate the pages to reread a previous post but "guests" may lose interest and not return.
The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living. - ANON |

SST - check your PM's on "the other board" - JW
I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant! |

There is an ongoing discussion on this at the myBB support forum.Maybe something will come up? It can be easily fixed if they just join the forum. They can keep their presence invisible while they read all the same stuff the rest of the regular forum members can see.We have two members who does that.Administrators can see them but no one else. RE: Guests are welcome
![]() Another feeble attempt to rationalize away the widespread cold and snow events we have enjoyed the last 3 years. The remark about "incredible" loss of ice in the Arctic does not work well in the winter Arctic.Plus NO sunlight during that time. It is a cooling trend that began in mid 1998.....
