I heard that on the news this morning. Everytime I hear greenpeace it just annoys the hell outta me.

From what I understand, these hippies from greenpeace actually are from other countries. so they fly in (hypocritical), protest, and if you charge them they just leave the country to avoid facing charges.

That to me is an act of terrorism. I would like to see any environmental member protesting like this be charged with terrorist acts. Better yet, they should deal with hippies like this like they deal with dissenters in China; wake up one day and they are never heard of ever again.

I think he is coming from being frustrated.After all Greenpeace too often are hypocritical and stupid in what they do.

Personally I would want to debate these idiots in the open and destroy their irrational beliefs in the process.

Then maybe rational environmentalism would come back to life?

Nice idea Sunsettomy, sadly, their beliefs are like a twisted kind of religion- or more likely a superstition. Have you ever tried to convince a religious person that God does not exist??? Or an astrologer that their beliefs are pure nonsense??

Plus the fact that the wiser mentalists know AGW is nonsense, but perpetuate the myth in order to achieve their political goals via the means. The ends justify the means in this case.

The only way to deal with these nutters is marginalise them and their crackpot ideas with both public and politicians. Sadly our politicians are either too stupid to see the truth or are using AGW to justify their political goals.

Come to think of it, never mind arguing with the religious, try converting a tory to labour or vice versa!

Sure there are many who do not care to think on their own.

But by drawing them out into the open,they get exposed and subject to ridicule.Remember those few public debates in the last few years.Where the skeptics would win them even in places where the opinion were first against them?

In a couple of forums.I was able to make such a big fool out of two people.Who have since then stopped posting.They were so awful in their replies that we wondered if they were sane (one was a ... scientist!).That was possible because I went after their preposterous comments hard by exposing the load of baloney it was.The scientist guy was then nailed by another scientist who was an expert in the field being discussed.He has never posted since and he was a regular poster up to then.

They have learned to avoid new debate challenges now for the most part.That is because they KNOW are likely to lose and often lose big time!

That is why I go back to certain forums to expose the childish baloney most warmist write.Other forums I no longer visit because there are no warmist manure infesting the threads,to counter.
